A.F. (Rick) Melzig, Director, Customer Systems

Mr. Melzig brings more than thirty-five years of RF communications experience to the Azure Communications team. Rick co-founded Advanced Radio Cells Inc. (ARCi.) and, most recently, served as Vice President, Customer Engineering for Arcwave Inc., leading field testing, field service and customer service activities.

Mr. Melzig has held senior engineering and project management positions at Network Equipment Technologies (NET), Cylink, and IBM.  As managing partner for Broadcast Engineering, he designed and built radio broadcasting transmitters and microwave studio link systems.

Rick Melzig holds BSEE and MS degrees from Renasselaer Polytechnic Institute.
